I’m a creative with a simple mission - to make others seen, heard & valued. .I've been compelled by stories since I was a little girl, always seeking out ways to listen attentively, dig deep, and share what I found with anyone I could. I could be caught hiding in my family’s bathroom in the wee hours of the night, hiding in a corner with a book in hand, staying up wayyy past my bedtime. I simply couldn't tear my eyes away! ⁣

There my passion for storytelling began, and it only grew from there. I quickly began dabbling in all sorts of mediums - poetry, painting, sketching, and eventually, photography. ⁣

Since then, I’ve been cherishing the living, breathing stories around me, captivated by how powerfully dynamic we as individuals can be, how our stories are continuously changing. ⁣

Now, I live out my dream of bringing stories to life, working with a servant heart to help amplify the voices of others and create art that resonates with many, gathered make, signs waters called said.

Welcome

Hiya, I’m Rachael Dier!

I host a very exciting podcast

A podcast dedicated to amplifying the voices of those way too often underrepresented in the media ecosystem. A platform is driven by an open, engaging conversation about what it means to truly be “naked and dignified”. Enjoy anecdotes from some of the most intriguing minds in the industry.

I am a photographer

I am an intimate wedding and editorial photographer with one simple mission: to make others seen. Truly seen, heard, and valued.I live out my dream of bringing stories to life, working with a servant heart to help amplify the voices of others and create art that resonates with many.

I am a content researcher

Outside of entrepreneurship, I work as a Content Researcher, influencing original series and films with consumer insights and behavior. Like with Naked and Dignified, this role centers viewers in the program development process, ensuring the content produced is made with viewers in mind.

As seen on

So, where did Naked and Dignified come from?

In 2019, I wanted to push myself and pursue boudoir - an artform I admired, but was also intimidated by. As someone who grew up in a religious, modest home, I had conflicting feelings toward intimate portraiture, and I didn’t know why. So, to dig deeper and challenge myself, I started practicing with the boudoir.

So many friends and acquaintances volunteered to model for me, and I made sure they felt comfortable doing it on their terms. So, while some posed in lingerie or the nude as one associated with boudoir, others posed in ways that were really vulnerable for them. For many, just standing in front of a camera alone was an act of courage.

In September 2020, after a year of restlessness and heightened emotions, I released a digital art book with the photos I had taken and titled it - you guessed - Naked and Dignified. It was an art piece inspired by the bravery of young women from different walks of life who showed me what it means to be stripped down, vulnerable in the face of retribution, and remain steadfast in one's pursuit of authenticity.

It was a journey of creative liberation, and something I was genuinely scared to share. But I did. And the response BLEW my mind.

So many people showed love and support, and even more messaged me telling me how important they thought the message was. It was this response that made me realize how the meaning behind the project was so much bigger than me. And bigger than itself. I knew it had to be nurtured into something bigger.

Naked and Dignified grew into a campaign that not only includes a second volume photo book, with more people showing their truth, but also a podcast diving deep and having conversations that really and truly matter.
